Cloud Computing Infrastructure

Cloud computing infrastructure means providing host services on the internet. The name cloud derives from the symbol of internet while making flow charts and diagrams. These are the kinds of services provided to those who are willing to use a computing infrastructure but cannot afford to build their own. These kinds of services are
divided into 3 basic forms named as Saas, Paas, and Iaas. This type of services are in demand nowadays. People can easily avail these facilities after one or two hours of the given order. These services are very much flexible as anyone orders the exact amount or services required. It goes with the concept of pay per use. The client only needs to have a system and an internet connection with him.

Cloud computing services are very affordable and convenient for developing economies or for small and medium scale business. There are basically two types computing infrastructure service providers namely public or private. Public cloud serve anyone and everyone on the internet whereas, the private cloud is a place or data center that serves only its client. Then why should anyone go for the private clouds who charge a bit higher than public clouds. The answer is security. Private clouds are more secure in comparison to the public clouds.

The main aim of cloud computing infrastructure is to provide easy and scalable access to all those who search for computer resources and other IT services on internet. Laas or Infrastructure-as-a-service provides virtual server instances that have unique IP address and storage capacity on demand or order. They follow pay per use model same like the way we use electricity and fuels. Sometimes it is also called as utility computing. Platform-as-a-service creates the applications for their clients. Google Applications are the suitable example for this. Last but not the least software-as-a-service or SaaS, this model provides the hardware infrastructure to their client. It has a very broad market. The services can be like web-based emails, data processing or even inventory control.
