This story might sound strange, but it is actually true. The other day my computer went berserk, and refused to obey any commands from me. It all started a few days back, when I put the power supply on from the mains, and walked to my desk to turn the computer on. I was shocked to find the computer missing from the desk. After searching all around in panic, I finally found it in the kitchen. How the hell did it get there? No one in my family had the answer. I took it back to my desk, connected the power supply and put it on. From that moment on, my troubles started.
After loading the operating system, it started off on its own without any commands from me. The internet connected by itself, and before I knew it, several sites started opening. All were unknown sites, and nothing that I could connect with our planet. Everything seemed to be happening so fast that I lost all sense of time or reality. Weird people came on the screen, some with pointed ears, and some with two heads. They were trying to tell me something, but of course I couldn’t understand what they said or wanted.
After a while, things started moving around on my desk. The empty coffee mug even fell on the floor, and I was surprised it didn’t break. Some papers flew out of the open window. My pen started dancing and twirling on its tip. I tried to scream but no sound came out. Somebody please stop this machine, I thought, and as if by magic, the computer suddenly stopped its crazy act and switched off, and there was silence.
