Technology Makes It Possible

Humans have always relied on technology to accomplish any task. In fact, no task is possible unless technology steps in. Technology is a force that humans have created over the years, and which keeps evolving as the needs of humans change over time. A large part of human existence is thus occupied in issues related to the creation of new technology, or to upgrade existing technology. Dissemination of technology for use by the masses is also an important aspect. For any technology to be successfully used by the masses, it must be suitably transferred to the end-users. Depending on the complexities involved, the transfer and dissemination of some technologies might even take several years.

Transfer of technology must happen in a manner that minimum loss happens during the transfer. If the transfer involves physical goods, it must be ensured that damages and thefts do not occur. If the transfer of technology involves documents in hard or soft form, these must be complete when received at the user-end. There must be a mechanism to verify the completeness of all received matter at the destination. In cases of large and complex dispatches, sometimes the mere verification of items received takes several days or weeks. All shortages or discrepancies must be immediately reported to the sender so that corrective actions can be taken.

All users must be adequately trained to use any technology. The aspects of training are thus an ongoing effort for all technologies. Proper training is critical to the use of any technology. Any discrepancies in training could result in serious accidents, which could also involve loss of life and property. The needs of training thus cannot be underestimated. Proper training of the trainers is equally important. All trainers must be properly qualified and thoroughly trained, with sufficient experience in handling the technology. Any gap in training must be immediately spotted and fixed by retraining the trainers or providing additional training. Feed back from the end-users is also an important aspect. This feedback is necessary to improve the technology, and must be a continuous process through all possible channels.
